Zayo is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) Specialist to work closely with the Commercial HR Business Partner team to implement and administer a variety of human resource programs.As a key member of our Human Resource organization, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment, supporting our employees, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Our Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) Specialist reports to the Head of HR Business Partner for the Commercial business segment. This role is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic and fun environment and grow within the HR Business Partner career path.

*We're open to this position being based in Zayo's Downtown Denver office (1401 Wynkoop.) As part of Zayo's hybrid work environment, this role will work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week with flexibility for more time in office based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute reporting and metrics for our organization's leaders on a proactive and regular cadence.

  • Manage the reporting of requisitions and approvals in partnership with our Talent Acquisition team.

  • Partner with P&C Operations and Talent Acquisition teams to effectively onboard contractors.

  • Work closely with the Finance team to update and maintain the monthly headcount tracker.

  • Manage ad-hoc projects, including policy changes and implementation (ie. talent cards for talent assessments, year-end compensation activities.)

  • Create Employee Engagement presentations for teams, quarterly pulse survey, and monthly pulse survey.

  • Work with leaders on developing job descriptions, processing requisitions and separations in HR systems.

  • Provide support to Zayo Supervisors and assist with HR-related matters.

  • Sales performance reporting and proactive manager support.

  • Participation in Denver office activities, including support of local events, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Internship information sessions.

  • Prepare monthly HR update to be used in business presentations, town halls.

  • Execution, implementation and administration of various human resource programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on general HR functions.

  • Desire to grow within the HR field, with a preference towards the Business Partner career path.

  • Advanced Excel Skills, including V-lookup and skill of merging data from multiple sources.

  • Ability to understand data and provide key insights.

  • Organized and detail oriented.

  • Self-starter, problem solver, resourceful, eager to learn.

Estimated Base Salary Range: $56,300 - $75,050 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
