YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE We are looking for a Intern in 401 N Michigan Ave, Suite 1400, Chicago, IL 60611 USA. Your mission will be to: Purpose (Objective): The intern is responsible for performing support functions for all duties as assigned, including creating reports, attending meetings, and assisting in department projects Main activities: * Coordinate company events by preparing and disseminating information. * Facilitate company activities as directed by company personnel. * Research future company programs using web-based and local resources * Gather information by attending meetings, trainings, and speaking with company personnel * Maintain company records by entering new information for timely information and document retrieval * Review company administrative policies and procedures related to internship assignments * Plan and implement projects for company personnel as directed. * Perform other related duties as needed. Communication: The main contacts with whom the position holder is repeatedly in contact with Internal Interlocutors: Regular contact with company personnel is to provide and obtain information from them. External Interlocutors: NA YOUR PROFILE Knowledge: Profile (required education/qualification and professional background): High School Diploma or equivalent. This position requires a working knowledge of word processing to produce documents for the facility. A working knowledge of spreadsheet software is necessary to enter data and information retrieval. General oral and written communication skills are needed to assist incumbents with projects. Time management and planning skills are helpful to accomplish tasks within set time constraints. Required skills: The intern performs tasks and addresses problems according to established procedures. The intern completes multiple assignments that have specified time constraints. Problems are solved using previous experience and established company procedures. Unique or unusual problems may be answered with the help of surrounding company personnel. Resourcefulness is needed in finding solutions to processes when less guidance is given. Projects of a long term nature may be assigned that require organization and perseverance to meet timelines. This position receives regular direction and guidance. The intern is responsible for tasks assigned by various company personnel. Any conflicts of task priority are resolved by the most direct supervisor. Tasks are often completed under supervision. Management (Size and characteristics of the team(s)): This position does not require the supervision and direction of others Work Environment:The intern works in an environment with proper lighting and temperature controls. Occasional lifting of heavy boxes of paper, packages to be mailed, and equipment supplies weighing up to 30 pounds is necessary to perform related responsibilities. Physical dexterity is necessary to effectively manipulate a keyboard.
