HRIS Analyst-Payroll and Support

SEI is seeing to hire a HR Information Systems Analyst - Payroll Specialist who will bridge the work between the payroll (Dayforce) and human capital management (Workday) systems. This includes monitoring activities across the various global payroll groups, improving processes between each system and providing support to SEI employees. This role must create new processes between SEI Payroll, Workforce Benefits and Development teams. By continuing to drive process improvements, SEI employees will gain clarity of all the corporate employee tools used to manage their compensation, benefits, retirement savings, career, continuing education and training. In addition, this position will work with members of the HRIS team to own and deliver process improvement, system enhancements, dashboards and tools required by SEI leadership.

What you will do:

This role will provide the governance of data between both the HCM (Workday) and payroll / benefits (Dayforce) systems. In addition, this role will create, run and continuously automate the support model for Payroll, Workforce Development and Benefits activities. This role will also drive system improvements across all HRIS systems and lead projects with key vendors.

This individual serves as a point of contact for HR related technologies, and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, report writing, data analytics and analyzing data flows for process improvement.

  • Monitory, support and enhance integrations from Dayforce and Workday. Will need to lead work across both internal teams and multiple vendors. Lead HRIS payroll projects Identify, remediate, and deliver lasting solutions to payroll issues
  • Work with the HRIS team to enhance and develop all reporting needs.
  • Lead all Dayforce and Workday audits. Build and execute monitoring schedule in compliance with SOX governance.
  • Monitor and work daily with payroll vendors to ensure they meet all project deliverables, SLA, and are not negatively impact services during product releases.
  • Identify, remediate, and deliver lasting solutions to Dayforce issues. Continually look to optimize Dayforce configurations and workflows.
  • Continue to build relationships and knowledge of products and services in HRIS technologies. Identify and help drive business cases for strategic investments to improve services or drive cost reductions.
  • Develop and enhance the employee support model that covers payroll, benefits, workforce and technical issues. Continue to develop model to scale support for new products and services.
  • Create a new reporting model and appropriate metrics for the support team. Ensure reporting evolves as services change and are consistently delivered each reporting cycle.

  • Work with the HRIS team to enhance and develop all reporting needs. Lead team to organize, create and maintain all process and education documents.
  • Manage and lead support team. Look for staffing opportunities with the programs and resources within the Workforce Development team.

What we need from you:

  • Experience working with Dayforce system including configuration management, reporting and support. Experience supporting Dayforce leveraged in global locations a plus.
  • Experience with software integrations with payroll/HR systems. Workday knowledge preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, IST, Accounting, or related field of study.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience creating support models and driving process improvements
  • Previous experience with HRIS and/or reporting tools. Experience with creation of dashboards.
  • Ability to configure Dayforce Payroll, Time and Benefits modules s in an administrator role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where you have leverage resources from across multiple teams and vendor groups.
  • Ability to configure HRIS tools in an administrator role
