- Seattle, Tacoma, Woodinville, or Arlington WA
- Travel throughout area customer locations in an Airgas vehicle may be required.

The Area Supply Chain Manager works closely with Account Managers, Branch Managers, and leads VMI technicians to supply customers with the appropriate products and services. You will work with different departments to enhance service offerings to increase sales and profitability within your assigned territory, driving profitable growth through the VMI channel through implementation of proven VMI efficiencies, Contribution Margin Tool management, and the Turnover Ratio external reporting tool.

In particular, you will:

  • Assure the market's VMI services meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage customer deliverable, cost reduction reporting, execute and deliver Total Cost of Ownership documents.
  • Assure accounts are orderly and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Prospect leads provided from the sales team to enhance sales and profitability of products.
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers & ABOCs to assure supporting inventory levels are met for VMI programs.
  • Lead, coach and mentor VMI associates; this will include positive motivation and performance evaluation, coaching, providing regular feedback, communication of goals, leading regular team meetings and calls.

  • High School diploma or the equivalent five years related experience or training. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • SAP or similar software system experience. Intermediate skills operating a computer in a Windows based environment is recommended.
  • Two or more years in business to business sales or supply chain/ inventory management is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with no more than two at fault accidents or violations in the last three years.
  • Must be able to work in a drug free environment.
