Job Summary:

University Health Services (UHS) is hiring a Custodian for our night shift. UHS provides custodial services to most areas of 333 East Campus Mall, including non-UHS spaces.

The Services teams provides services to multiple floors in the 333 East Campus Mall. These floors include offices, meeting space and break areas. There are two medical clinic floors and one floor that is primarily made up of the mental health clinic. Unique cleaning guidelines may be in place in some of these areas.


Responsibilities:
Cleans facilities, removes waste and recycling, and monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours. Ensures cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas.

  • 50% Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables
  • 10% Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities
  • 20% Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed
  • 10% Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs
  • 10% Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Additional Information:

University Health Services is pleased to offer a $2,000 hiring bonus for this position.
Shift hours: Monday - Friday 5:00 pm to 1:30 am
