TITLE: Connected Vehicle Technical Architect

DUTIES: Work with FCA's global teams (USA, Europe and China) to capture regional requirements in order to define global deployment solutions. Work with feature teams to develop initial understanding of business requirements and translate those into technical requirements. Create Architecture Requirement Documents that consist of Architecture System Flows, Use Case Flows, System Integration/Interface Flows, etc. Work closely with different stakeholders from each impacted systems as well as third party vendors to determine system integration needs. Drive conversations to select existing services or propose new services to be developed to meet required business capabilities. Research third party vendor solutions and participate in request for proposals to ensure those meet business needs as well as enterprise standards. Conduct Proof of Concepts to test internal as well as third party services to ensure they meet project requirements. Create necessary flow/sequence diagrams to drive business as well as technical conversations. Define non-functional requirements and propose loan and performance testing of services accordingly. Develop blueprints for future vehicle lines and identify offboard-onboard systems required.

Document large and complex technology architectures containing current state and future states of the solution. Ensure technology solutions adhere to FCA's organization standards. Participate in cyber security threat analysis for new features to be developed. Provide architecture oversight and governance to solutions defined by fellow architects. Support development of strategy for end-to-end system integration testing. Participate in load and performance tests and propose changes to the developed components to meet performance objectives.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical, electronica, Engineering or related and 8 years of experience in job offered or related. Experience must include: Translating user requirements into functional specifications; Creating architecture requirement documents at conceptual, logical and physical levels including Architecture system flows, Use Case Flows, System integration/interface flows, etc.; Identifying and proposing improvements to existing architecture designs. Coordinating end to end test validations of systems designed.
