Senior Quality Engineer - Renton, WA

Responsibilities:

  Interprets contract proposals, specifications, and standards for evaluation of the quality control requirements.

  
  

• 
  

  Develops, administers, and maintains the Quality Assurance Program (QAP) to ensure the project is compliant with contracts, plans, standards and specifications in accordance with U. S. Department of Transportation Quality Assurance and Quality Control Guidelines.

  
  

• 
  

  Coordinates with project management on Requests for Information.

  
  

• 
  

  Ensures the plan for testing and inspection is maintained and is based on contract requirements.

  
  

• 
  

  Ensures the necessary inspections and the proper documentation is completed in accordance with the QAP.

  
  

• 
  

  Ensures subcontractors and suppliers achieve the quality expectations of the QAP.

  
  

• 
  

  Performs other duties as assigned.

  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of engineering experience in heavy civil construction
