About the Role

Watlow is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our global sales efforts within the Semiconductor Business Unit. This executive-level position is critical in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building lasting customer relationships in a highly technical and competitive industry. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, proven commercial leadership, and the strategic acumen necessary to support the continued growth of our semiconductor portfolio.

As a key member of the business unit leadership team, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage and mentor a high-performing global sales organization, and collaborate cross-functionally to align commercial strategies with business goals.

Your Key Responsibilities



  • Sales Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of a global sales strategy that supports revenue growth and market expansion across key semiconductor segments.
  • Team Leadership: Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing tools, training, and guidance to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product Development, and Engineering teams to align sales efforts with customer needs and product roadmaps.
  • Performance Management: Define KPIs and sales targets; monitor performance and take proactive steps to ensure objectives are met.
  • Customer Engagement: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key customers and decision-makers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy and identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Funnel Oversight: Ensure consistent pipeline development and successful progression of opportunities through all stages of the sales process.
  • Commercial Execution: Lead pricing strategy development, contract negotiations, and proposal generation to optimize competitiveness and value.
  • Forecasting & Budget Management: Provide accurate demand forecasts and manage the sales SG&A budget to support business objectives.



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, ideally within the semiconductor industry
  • Demonstrated success in driving top-line revenue growth and leading high-impact sales teams
  • Deep understanding of the semiconductor market, technologies, and customer base
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and leading global sales efforts
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%



The base pay range for this role is between $230,757-$261,538 annually. You are also eligible for employee benefits and annual performance bonuses. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
