Responsibilities:
- Chemical Unloading: - Safely unload chemical materials from delivery trucks or containers using appropriate equipment and procedures. - Ensure compliance with handling protocols and safety regulations. - Quality Control: - Inspect chemical shipments for any signs of damage, leaks, or contamination. - Report and address any issues promptly, following established procedures. - Equipment Operation: - Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to facilitate the unloading process. - Conduct pre-use inspections and report any equipment malfunctions. - Safety Procedures: - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines related to chemical handling and unloading. - Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. - Chemical Storage: - Transfer unloaded chemicals to designated storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization. - Collaborate with the inventory control team to maintain accurate records. - Documentation: - Record information related to chemical shipments, including quantities, lot numbers, and other relevant details. - Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately. - Communication: - Communicate effectively with the procurement team, warehouse personnel, and other relevant stakeholders. - Report any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. - Emergency Response: - Follow established procedures in the event of spills, leaks, or other emergencies. - Participate in emergency response drills and training sessions. - Equipment Maintenance: - Assist in the routine maintenance of material handling equipment. - Report any equipment defects or maintenance needs to the supervisor. - Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities for process improvement in the chemical unloading process. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency enhancements.

Qualifiations: - High school diploma or equivalent. - [X years] of experience in chemical handling or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Valid forklift operator certification. - Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to chemical handling. - Physical ability to lift and move heavy loads, including drums and containers. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
