Your impact: OT is seeking a driven and experienced Account Development Manager to lead our team of Cyber SMB Business Development Representatives. This individual will be responsible for mentoring and coaching the BDR team, optimizing prospecting strategies, and ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds pipeline generation goals. Focused on x products, the Account Development Manager will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to align outbound efforts with broader business goals. What the role offers:
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Hire, train, coach, and manage a high-performing team of BDRs.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and supportive team environment.
- Pipeline Generation:
- Ensure the BDR team consistently meets KPIs around meetings booked, opportunities created, and pipeline generated.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize outreach strategies.
- Process Improvement:
- Build and refine scalable outreach processes and cadences using CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot).
- Implement best practices for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and handoff to AEs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with Marketing to align on lead quality, messaging, and campaign feedback.
- Partner with Sales leadership to ensure smooth transitions from prospect to opportunity.
- Collaborate with RevOps to ensure accurate reporting and efficient workflows.
- Data & Reporting:
- Track team activity and effectiveness via dashboards and regular reporting.
- Analyze trends to inform strategy and resource allocation.
What you need to succeed:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a BDR/SDR role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record of exceeding pipeline and revenue goals through outbound sales.
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Passion for developing talent and driving team success
- Experience in Cyber SMB industry
- Familiarity with lead scoring, ABM, or multi-channel outreach strategies.
- Background working in a fast-paced sales environment.
