Essential Responsibilities:
The JDE Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading the problem solving and engineering of software solutions within the JD Edwards Enterprise One software application by implementing Oracle Supply Chain Applications, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to- Pay (PTP), Record-to-Report (RTR), Advanced Pricing, iSupplier and iProcurement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead the development and support of the Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne applications by contributing to requests for proposals (RFP) and reports as well as performing routine updates and fixes across multiple functional Oracle JDE modules using the JDE
developer toolset;
* Lead and mentor other functional analysts, developers and technical resources (internal and contracted) to timely deliver good quality code, unit/system testing, technical specifications and to follow Merieux development standards;
* Ensure detailed functional and technical design documents are used based on approved business requirements;
* Lead development design and code reviews to ensure quality of all stated designs;
* Manage the development and unit test programs according to defined technical designs and stated business requirements;
* Lead functional and development application reviews with the IT analysts to ensure all designs are built to support stated business requirements;
* Ensure development of Oracle JDE application code is in adherence to established programming standards;
* Lead and participate in the unit and end-to-end testing on all developed applications to insure adherence to QA standards;
* Define systems strategy, gather and document business requirements, and support the functional design, prototyping, and process design stages of Oracle JD Edwards ERP implementations. Design, develop, and test the integration applications required to support third party non JDE applications within the enterprise;
* Manage code deployment through the stated change control and version management process from the development environment through to the production environment;
* Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, external consultants, software and infrastructure engineers, and others to understand and implement new JD Edwards Enterprise One business processes and functionality;
* Analyze moderate to complex business needs to recommend and design appropriate functional or technical solutions;
* Lead system and application design, development, implementation, and testing and manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing and training;
* Troubleshoot critical and non-critical production system/application issues and bugs and provide timely responses and resolutions;
* Analyze system/application issues to determine/report root cause and support future prevention;
* Familiar with and committed to complying with all general IT software project and life cycle management practices. This will include all applicable SDLC policies, processes, procedures, methodologies, lifecycles, etc.;
* Implement and develop combinations of Oracle JDE Distribution modules Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement Management, Requisition Self Service and Advanced Pricing and ensure all systemic upgrades to the architecture are
documented and train other JDE team members on platform knowledge; and
* Ensure constant on-call support is available by the JDE ERP team for system emergencies.
Position allows for occasional telecommuting within commuting distance of reporting office in Chicago, IL.
YOUR PROFILE
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Technology, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent). Employer will accept 3 or 4-year degree.
Must be certified in JDE Edwards Enterprise One Distribution 9.2 as a Certified Implementation Specialist.
The position requires at least five (5) years' experience in each of the following:
* Implementing and Supporting Oracle JD Edwards software with specific focus on the Distribution Suite of products including Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement Management, Advanced Pricing.
* Defining systems strategy; developing business systems requirements; designing, prototyping and testing software/systems.
* Trained users on JD Edwards modules. Position also requires at least four (4) years' experience in each of the following:
* Utilizing JDE Oracle Database SQL scripting to develop and execute backend DB
changes.
* Using and performing code reviews of JDE Development Toolsets (RDA, FDA, OMW, DD, NER, C business functions, JDE cache, Web services, etc.).
* Managing and co-coordinated with a team of JDE systems analysts, developers, and consultants both local and offshore following an agile methodology.
Position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel to oversee projects at company and customer facilities.
Compensation: $164,800 per year
