We are looking for a Director of Data Integration & Analytics to support our team by leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data strategies. As a Trex Director, Data Integration & Analytics you will leverage data as a competitive asset, ensuring seamless integration across platforms and enabling data-driven decision-making at all organizational levels. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to guide the organization toward a data-driven organization. This role is a key member of our Information Technology team.

RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Strategic Leadership



    • Develop and oversee the enterprise-wide data strategy, aligning it with Trex's business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
    • Lead the creation and execution of scalable data architecture to support analytics, integration, and operational excellence.
    • Advocate for data literacy and establish a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.


    Data Integration and Architecture



    • Design and implement robust data integration frameworks to unify data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency, security, and accessibility.
    • Oversee the integration of on-premises and cloud-based systems, utilizing modern tools and technologies to optimize performance and cost.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business processes and customer needs.
    • Conduct gap analyses and define actionable roadmaps to address discrepancies between the current and desired states.


    Analytics and Insights



    • Drive the design and implementation of advanced analytics platforms to deliver actionable insights.
    • Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools to identify trends, predict outcomes, and enhance customer experiences.
    • Oversee the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and visualization frameworks to empower stakeholders with real-time insights.


    Governance and Security



    • Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Implement robust security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure business continuity.


    Team Leadership and Collaboration



    • Build and mentor a high-performing team of data architects, engineers, scientists, analysts, and integration specialists.
    • Foster collaboration between IT and the business to ensure data initiatives meet organizational needs.
    • Partner with external vendors and consultants to bring cutting-edge technologies and best practices to Trex.

EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, analytics, and integration roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of implementing enterprise-level data and integration solutions.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing/lake/mesh technologies.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and related tools.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks, analytics platforms, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Quik).
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with a track record of aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in driving change and fostering innovation in a complex enterprise environment.



    BASE SALARY RANGE: $215,000-$255,000 annually

    The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual and/or sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

    At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
