Position Summary

As an intern with our Client Services IT group, you will assist the IT department with internal customer support and contribute to company-wide initiative projects.

This role is based in Morgan City, LA, and requires a daily on-site work schedule; it is not a remote position. This is a paid summer internship program starting in late of May and running through August.


Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide internal customer support for IT-related matters.
  • Assist in the preparation and deployment of computers with Windows 11.
  • Maintain accurate records of computer inventory and deployment status.
  • Ensure all necessary software and drivers are installed and configured correctly. Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
  • Help with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications.
  • Monitor and manage the ticketing system to ensure all customer inquiries and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transition for all IT services and process.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Student currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited University
  • Basic understanding of computer systems and software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • No relocation or housing assistance is being offered.
