Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Human Resources Director to lead our HR department and drive strategic initiatives that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in all aspects of human resources management, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance reporting, compensation management, employee evaluations, engagement, development, leveraging data-driven metrics, and overseeing recruiting efforts.

This is a senior-level role that requires a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and a hands-on professional who can balance operational excellence with long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring fair treatment across the organization.
  • Benefits Management: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Compliance Reporting: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including timely submission of compliance reports.
  • Compensation Management: Develop and manage competitive compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Employee Evaluations: Implement and oversee performance evaluation processes to drive accountability and professional growth.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and execute initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.
  • Employee Development: Create and manage training programs to support employee skill development and career progression.
  • Data-Driven Metrics: Utilize HR analytics to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Executive Briefing/Communications: Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to the executive team regarding HR initiatives, workforce trends, and organizational health.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new employees are integrated effectively into the organization.
  • Terminations: Manage offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and professionalism during employee separations.
  • Recruiting Oversight: Lead and oversee recruiting efforts to attract top talent, including developing strategies for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to HR team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Certifications: HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
