Position Title: Fabricator
Wage: $20/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2pm-10pm We are looking for motivated candidates to join a great team in Madison, WI. Fabricator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - TIG welding and finishing of stainless steel and other materials - Operate grinding and polishing machines - Operate thermoforming and routing equipment - Operate machines and/or equipment such as but not limited to CNC panel bender, various presses, spot welders, lasers, brake press, and die stamping to fabricate metal into parts for use in manufacturing process - Load and unload materials and/or parts into or out of the machine with precision and accuracy - Select proper software program to run specific parts on the machines and make software modifications as necessary - Complete set up tasks to prepare for shift such as getting proper fixtures - Visually inspect and measure parts for accuracy and defects - Preventative maintenance tasks - Train employees on procedures and techniques - Assist in defining work instructions Fabricator Requirements: - Must be comfortable standing, bending, and lifting throughout a shift - Must have prior machine operating experience and longevity in manufacturing work history - Must be able to work independently and in a team environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
