Position Title: Electropolishing Technician
Wage: $18-$22/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring an Electropolishing Technician for a company in Elkhorn, WI. This is an associate to hire role. Electropolishing Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and operate electropolishing equipment according to job orders - Monitor the electropolishing process, adjusting parameters (time cycles, voltage settings, chemical concentrations) as needed - Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of parts before and after electropolishing to ensure a smooth and passive surface layer - Maintain accurate records of process parameters and inspection results - Troubleshoot processing issues promptly to maintain product quality and efficiency - Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of electropolishing equipment and work area - Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment - Work closely with quality control and production teams to optimize process conditions - Participate in training opportunities to enhance skills in stainless-steel finishing techniques Electropolishing Technician Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Basic understanding of high school level chemistry - Ability to read and interpret technical documents (blueprints, operation manuals) - Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting - Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently - Ability to stand for extended periods and handle equipment safely - Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds - No prior experience required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
