Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Java Lead Developer, with frontend experience using ANgularproficiency in Java Core with experience in Writing REST API, backend logic (batch jobs / Kafka processors) using spring boo.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC to meet business requirements and enhance system functionality.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and optimize applications that leverage AWS cloud services for scalability and performance.

* Utilize SQL and MySQL databases to manage data effectively ensuring data integrity and accessibility for various applications.

* Implement front-end solutions using JavaScript to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces that improve user experience.

* Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure reliability and performance by addressing any issues promptly.

* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality code standards.

* Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements that drive project success.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies applying them to enhance existing systems and develop innovative solutions.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, particularly in the Payer domain to deliver secure and efficient software solutions.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members supporting their professional growth and development.

* Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

* Contribute to the company's strategic goals by developing software that aligns with its mission and impacts society positively.

* Engage in continuous learning and professional development to maintain expertise in relevant technologies and domain knowledge

Key Qualifications:

* Minimum 9+ years of experience as Spring boot and Java.

* Demonstrate extensive experience in AWS SQL Spring Boot Java Spring MVC JavaScript and MySQL showcasing technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.

* Possess strong domain knowledge in Payer systems understanding the complexities and requirements of the industry.

* Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills enabling effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

* Show a commitment to quality and attention to detail ensuring high standards in software development and delivery.

* Display adaptability and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies as needed.

* Have a proven track record of successful project delivery in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office work effectively.
