Sr. UI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Developer with extensive experience in Angular to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces that enhance the functionality, performance, and visual appeal of our applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers, to create seamless and engaging user experiences.

Location: New York, NY.

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Onsite position, 5 days a week at the office.

Responsibilities

* Design and develop complex and large-scale business applications.

* Design, develop and test web applications.

* Design and develop services, contracts, and design data models.

* Understand and document business requirements and system designs.

* Develop database objects (stored procedures, functions, views, constraints etc.).

Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in Angular development.

* Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Knowledge of other JavaScript frameworks/libraries is a plus.

* Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor.

* Hands on experience in working with .NET, RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

* Strong hands on experience in developing SQL , Store Procedures etc.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until July 24^th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
