Requisition ID# 163557 Job Category: Real Estate / Facilities Job Level: Director/Chief Business Unit: Information Technology Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Oakland The Role Based at PG&E's headquarters in Oakland, California, the Director of Executive Protection is responsible for the strategic plan and programs to maintain the highest standard of safety for our CEO, Executive leadership Team, Board of Directors and other high-profile coworkers. The programs will require extensive experience in corporate, residential, event and travel advance work and security. The successful leader will be an expert in security and have extensive experience interacting with high-profile individuals, law enforcement, intelligence agencies and the general public with outstanding presence and diplomacy. The leader will inspire a high performing team to own all executive protection and intelligence programs and train key stakeholders, and ensure our proactive programs and responses to threats maintain the highest standard of safety for protected coworkers. Reporting Relationship The Director, Executive Protection reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Security and leads a team of operations, program and intelligence managers. The Director will lead a team of approximately 13 full time professional employees and additional contractors to support the team, as necessary. PG&E has 2,000+ physical sites across 70,000 square miles of our service territory, and executives travel frequently outside of the service territory. Department Overview - Executive Protection PG&E's Executive Protection Organization is part of the Enterprise Protection organization committed to addressing evolving threats and complex cyber and physical security risks. We seek to continually improve our services through strategic deployment of our resources, standardizing security practices and policies, and reinforcing and promoting security awareness across the enterprise. Our Executive Protection organization leads our efforts to detect, monitor, and respond to physical threats and attacks. It is critical to ensure that high-profile, public facing coworkers, executives, and members of the Board of Directors are safe and secure through proactive intelligence analysis, threat assessment, and physical security programs. Once risks are identified and prioritized, we develop and activate mitigation plans to protect our coworkers. Key Responsibilities

Compensation PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill be placed towards the middle of the range ($241,000), the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. A reasonable salary range is: Bay Area Minimum: $178,000 Bay Area Maximum: $304,000 Background Qualifications
