Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Visa Acceptance Solutions Finance team supporting our disputes products, including Verifi, Visa Resolve Online, and other Post Purchase products. The Finance team uses a consultative model with key stakeholders in the business to apply data to business and finance decisions, as well as measure performance. As a finance business partner, this person will cultivate operational partnerships to drive strategic and financial thought leadership and successfully complete the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with Verifi and Visa business partners to develop comprehensive annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly updates, and business plans for both revenue and expense

  • Create financial reports and assist with monitoring and analyzing monthly and quarterly performance to plan

  • Understand variances to plan and revise models and estimates to incorporate changes

  • Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business

  • Develop and support TAM/SAM/SOM revenue modeling

  • Design and adapt product revenue models involving large data sets

  • Utilize, automate and improve existing applications and be intimately involved with migration of Verifi systems into Visa systems for planning and reporting

  • Build and deploy tools that assist in establishing, tracking, analyzing, and communicating company KPIs

  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining, standardizing and automating processes, and reporting requirements

  • Work with limited direction and supervision, usually within a complex and changing environment to meet project deadlines

  • Communicate proactively with all levels of management

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting preferred. CPA, MBA, CFA, or MS a plus

4+ years of relevant experience with FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, and/or accounting

Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Hyperion , and strong skills in Power BI, Tableau, and TM1

Proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large datasets

Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses

Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of management and produce time sensitive deliverables

Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization are extremely critical

High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities

Strong curiosity to connect the dots and tell the story through the financials

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
