Position Summary

We are seeking aHuman Resources Compliance Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization's adherence to all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role encompasses compliance and regulatory management, investigation and complaint management and Human Resources policy governance through collaboration with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies across all regions, managing annual compliance activities and mandatory training programs.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate HR-related risks through policy reviews, audits, training, and proactive monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain a robust compliance framework, including tracking programs and internal controls to meet organizational needs.
  • Champion a culture of compliance and ethical behavior by promoting awareness and understanding throughout the company.
  • Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel on related matters, administrative claims, EEOC investigations, wage disputes, and audits.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of employee complaints, charges, and allegations, ensuring fair and legally compliant resolutions.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to regulatory agency charges and complaints.
  • Oversee the review, maintenance, interpretation, and communication of global HR policies to ensure consistent implementation worldwide.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring compliance reporting and support services align with business objectives.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements to optimize service delivery.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations on complex HR compliance issues.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree and / or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a focus on strategic HR roles including compliance, risk management, and workforce analytics. Global experience a plus.
  • Proven track record of conducting complex investigations and managing employee relations issues.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience managing external vendors and developing effective partnerships.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing HR team.
  • Strong ability to lead and support change, implementing improvements across HR functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR technology systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS).
