Dentist - Dental Medicine

General Dentist - Provide comprehensive care to a panel of patients as well as supervise residents within our General Practice Residency Program. The candidate must be proficient in all areas of general dentistry and enjoy working in teaching and group-practice environments. In this role, the successful candidate will render excellent clinical care in the outpatient FHC clinic and inpatient setting at NYU- Brooklyn Hospital. You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of dentist specialists, hygiene professionals and clinical support staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide dental care services to all patients assigned.
• Meet standards of care and predefined productivity expectations.
• Accommodating walk- in patients.
• Arriving for office sessions on time and reminting throughout each session.
• Engaging in teamwork with the support staff and colleagues.
• Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
• Participation in quality initiatives
• When assigned, the dental provider will treat patients/provide patient services to FHC patients in the operating room setting. The dental provider will coordinate care in conjunction with the patient's primary care provider and will complete all records associated with the care of the patient. The provider shall respond to all calls and inquiries associated with the patient's care in a timely manner.
• Accurate and timely completion of any paperwork necessary to facilitate FHC billing and reimbursement as is reasonably expected.

Minimum Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• 3 years of Direct Patient Care Experience.
• NYS Dental Licensure (State Certified Licensure)
• Excellent proficiency with Dental Electronic Record Systems.
