In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for overseeing the application, review, and award process for grant programs for the Behavioral Health department at the Family Health Centers at NYU Langone. Assists and supports all pre and post-award grant activities ensuring deliverables are achieved in compliance with all standards, regulations and guidelines. Works under general direction. Job Responsibilities:
- Identifies, applies, administers, and coordinates the administration of foundation, federal, state and local grant awards in accordance with all applicable standards, regulations and guidelines
- Assists in proposal development which includes organizing, writing and coordinating application submissions in response to RFPs and grant opportunities
- Provides pre and post-award general support which includes internal & external reporting, coordinating deliverables, maintaining budgets, tracking spending, and reconciliation activities
- Audits, monitors and tracks program activitiy, distributing progress reports
- Demonstrates knowledge of the organizations Service Standards and incorporates them into the performance of duties
- Collaborates with various departments within NYU Langone Health including FHC Grants Fiscal, Central Grants Office, School of Medicine, and Washington Square
- Demonstrates knowledge of various grant reporting systems, Electronic Health Records, , and dashboards
- Supports quality improvement initiatives and in collaboration with Clinical Leadership, establish metrics
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Provide pre-award support to faculty across the department including completing all non-scientific portions of grant applications. Lead budget development. Gather required documents from collaborators and subcontractor organizations as needed. Enter grant into Research Navigator and work with the department and Sponsored Programs Administration to ensure the grant is submitted by the funder due date.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and three years grants administration or other relevant experience
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Effective oral, written, verbal, organizational and creative problem-solving skills
- Autonomous self starter with the ability to exercise independent judgment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel
