SALARY RANGE:$97,000 - 110,000 POSITION SUMMARY: As a member of Project Controls Department, this position will assist Project Management teams with the following:
Position is responsible for assembling and analyzing defined and undefined project information, and preparing understandable documents, which serve as tools to help coordinate/manage project tasks and resources at individual project and division levels. INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS: The individual works and interacts with many levels within Vigor. Works closely with other schedulers, subcontractors, and the customer to integrate schedules. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: B.S. in engineering, project management, or business accounting is required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: PMP preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is conducted in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting with moderate to loud noise levels from production activity in the shipyard. 80% normal office environment; 20% of time spent in production areas in yard and aboard ships. The individual may be required to be in production areas in yard and onboard ships. He/she must be able to walk to and from job sites. The person must be able to climb inclined stairways and vertical ladders; to enter confined areas and tanks; to work at heights. He/she may be required to work more than 8-hour shifts and weekend work. There may be local travel and out-of-town travel (including air travel) up to 5% of the time with notice. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While in production areas, the individual will be exposed to all weather conditions, noise, dusts and odors.
