The Logistics Manager, Clinical Supply Chain, is responsible for clinical supply distribution and logistics. The incumbent works internally with clinical supply planners, vendor managers, trade compliance, finance, and contract management groups. They also serve as the key point of contact for external partners around all logistics and distribution activities. Scope of role is the movement of bulk material from manufacturing plants to packaging plants and movement of finished goods from packaging plants to regional depots and/or clinical sites globally, as well as processing of temperature excursion reports and facilitation of inventory destructions. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The following provides description of key responsibilities; other logistics and distribution duties and responsibilities beyond the description below will be assigned. Manage clinical supply activities from study start-up through study closure. Proactively drive the labeling, packaging, release, distribution of clinical supplies at external CMO's for assigned studies, ensuring the project timeline is met or exceeded. Ensure domestic and global distribution arrangements are in place with external vendors to allow shipment following availability of technical and regulatory releases. Logistics oversight: Independently perform monitoring of site to site shipments (within a country) and depot to depot shipments. Vendor Management: Independently manage routine operational interface with vendors. Under supervision manage vendor performance. Trade Compliance: Under supervision maintain trade documentation. Under supervision create documentation and establish value of clinical supply goods. Distribution Network: Under supervision set up distribution network for clinical studies. Budget Management: Under supervision review invoices based on contract and track distribution budget. Temperature Excursion (TE) Management: Independently process temperature excursion reports and conduct TE investigation. Inventory Monitoring: Under Supervision monitor clinical trial supply inventory levels, including expiration dates, to maintain adequate stock for study needs Reconciliation: Independently process disposition and destruction reports, including cross-functional processes with CSLs and Quality Assurance All other duties as required and assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Education: BS / BA degree or APICS certification and a minimum 5 years of related experience. Experience: If not degreed and lacks certification, a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in logistics/distribution role Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this positionis $97,000 - $138,500 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate's geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity, among other factors.
