The Department of Radiological Sciences is dedicated to conducting leading-edge research, providing the highest quality clinical education and delivering state-of-the-art care to our patients through the advanced diagnosis and treatment of disease through biomedical research. The department performs approximately 200,000 radiological exams per year through the utilization of all imaging modalities which include
conventional radiography, angiography, ultrasonography, CT, MRI and nuclear Medicine. Our department scientists and physicians are constantly working to develop new technologies and imaging techniques that will become the medical imaging examinations and medical interventions of tomorrow. The department has 7 imaging modalities with 60 faculty and 23 staff.


Your Role on the Team

The Assistant Clinical Coordinator works in the Intelligent Medical Imaging Research lab to help with subject enrollment, scheduling, coordinating and conducting research procedures, collecting data, database management, quality assurance, data annotation, and in supporting research personnel in data analysis and interpretation, in preparing reports and presentations.

The lab's focus is on motion-robust magnetic resonance imaging using pulse sequence design, image reconstruction, image registration,
segmentation and enhancement using deep learning, and real-time image processing, for brain, body, and fetal applications.


What It Takes to be Successful

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology, or a related field
  • 1-3 years Demonstrated experience in clinical research coordination, computer programming, and data management.

Preferred:

  • Experience in coordinating and conducting medical imaging studies
  • Experience in magnetic resonance imaging
  • Experience in database management, data curation, quality control
  • Experience in computer programming, python, C++, MATLAB, Shell script
  • Experience in image processing and image analysis
  • Experience in statistical analysis, statistical learning, machine learning, and deep learning
