Job Posting:

The DTC Planner (Sales & Demand Planning) will lead brand sales plans and demand plans by month at the category/style/size level using available systems/tools and cross functional team input to achieve the Direct-to-Consumer ecommerce objectives. Drive sales and profitability goals by leading pre-season and in-season style detail and category roll up meetings, along with trend analysis of specific categories within brand to bridge financial and merchant plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & lead sales plans for upcoming seasons in a timely manner, collaborating with buyers at the category/style level to achieve sales targets while owning the bridge from merchandise to financial plans.
  • Derive style/color/size level demand plans for a rolling 18 months.
  • Identify best-selling styles and skus. Work with internal teams to secure inventory and deliver best in class consumer experience for ecommerce.
  • Partner with DTC buying teams to define product strategies and create demand signals for supply chain.
  • Lead monthly plan review to discuss key metrics (sales dollars and units) for opportunities and/or shortfalls to plan.
  • Develop and manage pre-market seasonal preparation, plans, and analysis to ensure assortments
  • Understand digital and merchant team reporting, analysis available, and the impact to product performance.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and business reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills
  • Ability to identify the relevant data required (and build reports measuring the same) to achieve larger business objectives
  • Ability to learn new systems and new processes quickly
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Logility, SAP, Excel and Power BI knowledge
