Speech Therapist Flex

We are seeking a speech-language pathologist to serve a mix of patients from our acute care floors (ICU, neuro, trauma and med/surg) and those admitted to our 21-bed Rehabilitation Center, our CARF-accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. Experience in stroke, brain injury, and/or complex medical conditions is preferred. Experience facilitating and interpreting video fluoroscopic swallow studies preferred. Experience with evaluation of speaking and swallowing for those with tracheostomy is preferred but not required. We work collaboratively as an interdisciplinary team so strong problem solving and communication skills are needed. Onboarding support is included, and we pride ourselves on our welcoming and supportive culture. This is a flex position with 3, 8-hour days (Tues, Wed, and Fridays) and 2 half days (Mondays and Thursdays 8-12:30). If volume/demand allows, half day hours will be extended.

Work Schedule:



  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8-4:30
  • Monday & Thursdays 8-12:30 with ability to flex to 4:30 based on volume/demand
  • Every 6th weekend rotation
  • Holiday rotation


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Licensed/registered/certified with applicable governing Speech Language Pathology board(s) and Minnesota Department of Health.
  • CPR Certification (Basic Life Support).


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in similar setting/diagnoses
  • Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
