Description

The Multimedia Designer works within a team of professionals who produce multimedia programming-including broadcast-quality video, podcasts, and photography-geared toward intended audiences, in consideration of clinical and administrative functions, that support MaineHealth's priorities and strategic plan. The role is responsible for evaluating incoming requests, analyzing the objectives and logistics, project planning, timeline development, collaborating and engaging closely with partners, and ultimately defining and developing multimedia production content from inception through to completion.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelors preferred or equivalent experience in education, communications, technology, instructional systems, e-learning development tools, instructional design, or related areas.
  2. License/Certifications:
  3. Experience: Five years in design, instructional design/systems, e-learning development tools, or other design platforms, communications, production, and/or a professional multimedia field for a corporate in-house creative or marketing department, agency, or studio.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficiency with both PC and Macintosh computers, working across the platforms.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
