CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS



  • Build HTML emails for DIY and Wholesale marketing campaigns.
  • Effectively use existing HTML email templates for maximum efficiency and timeliness.
  • Understand and follow email compliance standards.
  • Test/QA all emails before launch for accuracy, tracking, and readability across devices and email service providers
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on email campaign operations and stay current with all best practices, strategies, industry standards
  • Work with the Data Operations team to translate business requirements into campaign audience selection strategies and rules
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is an absolute must.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:



  • 3 Years of Relevant Experience


Preferred:



  • Bachelor's Degree


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:



  • Experience writing HTML or CSS. Must be able to build and troubleshoot without WYSIWYG assistance.
  • Proficient in: Photoshop or Figma.
  • Capable of keeping an organized file structure on a web server.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, good time management skills, excellent organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Continuously improve knowledge on email development best practices
  • Testing and optimization experience. Experience using Litmus is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and other internal teams.
  • Strong sense of visual design and ability to create, re-size, and optimize images and graphics for email.
  • Experience developing and executing dynamic content


Preferred:



  • Experience building/updating landing pages and microsites.
  • Proficient in cross-platform email techniques for major email clients such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and Apple Mail, etc.
  • Experience updating and maintaining a healthy code template base
  • Experience working with data teams
  • Knowledge of marketing platforms such as Litmus, Validity, and Workfront
