Logistics Analyst Location: Katy, TX Job type: Full time Schedule: 8:00 PM - 5:00 PM What You'll Do * Keep in contact with CDC Manager regarding issues in Warehouse * Developing Plans for logistically sound Warehouse Logistical Plan * Develop plan for decision making improvement, organizing, product handling, leadership and keeping all on the same page * Develop approach to improve hours versus productivity * Setting Benchmarks based on average performance of Warehouse Associates * Keeping good communication between Cost and Purchasing Departments * Develop Monthly, Weekly, Daily Reports on efficiencies and productivity * Consulting with Warehouse Management on process improvement and people efficiencies and tracking productivity * Project work as requested regarding Logistics and Purchasing * Track and log equipment for all Warehouses Company-wide * Branch Visits for Logistic improvement What You Bring * A 4 Year College Degree in Business Management. * Preferred candidate will have 2+ years of industry-related experience. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents or governmental regulations. * Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Ability to effectively present information to top management and speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors or employees. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; compute rate, ratio and draw and interpret graphs. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in order to solve practical problems where only limited information and standardization exists. * Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form Learn More About Us Get to know us on YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram and learn how we're "Powering Progress for Future Generations."
