Quality Assurance Inspector Associate II

The Production Inspector is a member of the Quality Assurance Department. The Production Inspector plans and performs a sequence of operations, where standards or recognized operation methods are available and the making of general decisions as to quality and tolerances.

• Promotes the Company's mission and values-based culture through ensuring quality standards are met.
• Reading, interpreting and applying inspection procedures, drawings and similar documents.
• Using measuring and gauges to determine product conformance.
• Inspects in one area, as required.
• Creates and maintains necessary inspection records.
• Obey safely rules at all times and report any unsafe acts or conditions.
• Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

• Must have a minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

• Travel not required.

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure.

• Must have the ability to define quality inspections

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the Report Manager and Microsoft Office.

• The ability to interpret blueprints, installation sheets and statistical analysis.
• Proficient in the use of material handling equipment.
• Capable of working with little or no supervision.
• Able to use various test and measuring equipment, I.E. Tape measure, micrometers, calipers.
• Familiar with different types of raw materials, welds and surface finishes.
