Job Overview The PCX Electrical Assembler 1 is responsible for completing all assigned work according to specifications in a high quality and safe manner. The Electrical Assembler 1 is proficient in reading assembly documentation and providing high quality work with guidance. The Electrical Assembler 1 can properly cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires from component to component while maintaining PCX's quality standards. The Electrical Assembler 1 is required to follow the instructions of the electrical supervisor and suggest improvements. A Day In The Life Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean. Must be able to read and understand posted bulletins, regulations, rule books, manufacturer manuals, and work instructions Complete required documentation (Timesheets, material usage, etc.) Able to lift 35 pounds consistently and team lift 70 pounds Should have ability to read assembly documentation and provide high quality of work with guidance. Ensures and double checks that materials are correct and documentation is current Can properly cut, strip, crimp and terminate wires from component to component Defers to lead for any discrepancies before taking action to remedy problems Desire to produce quality products to be used in larger assemblies Ability to read wire tables, line diagrams and ensure wire is properly terminated Ability to work on ladders (up to 10 feet), lifts (with harness) and stand or sit for long periods of time What will help you thrive in this role?
