General Summary:
This position will under general direction, design strategy for dedicated transportation for Campbell (~$50MM global annual spend), facilitate systems and technology enablement, and drive analytic studies across Logistics Procurement. This position will support Supply Chain logistics across North America at WHQ. The individual will be expected help support logistics procurement goals and deliver Procurement's financial and process goals/objectives, facilitate alignment and partnership with Supply Chain Logistics leadership, utilize category and procurement expertise to deliver results and influence category strategies.

This position will support in identifying areas of opportunity across all Campbell brands and subsidiaries which will improve operational performance, increase customer service, achieve sustainable productivity, and reduce costs. Tasks include supporting strategic sourcing processes, stakeholder management, driving continuous improvement and innovative thinking. This individual will be required to have quantitative skills to analyze, validate, manipulate, and manage large amounts of data, specific to problem solving and decision support. In additional this position will serve as the technical experts on systems utilization to facilitate sourcing logistics sourcing events.

This position will help drive Logistics best practices across the various business units by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the industry. Role will require development of RFIs and RFPs as well as leading negotiations and execution of contracts. Also, financial analysis, risk assessment skills and experience using RFX software systems are needed to recommend most optimal solutions to the businesses.

Primary Responsibilities:
The candidate will act as the organizational representative in dealing with key internal stakeholders, Campbell's business units, and external Transportation and Logistics suppliers.
Strategy development
* Partner with business in strategy development for the Dedicated Transportation category
* Translate strategy into tactical plans and support execution
* Define and implement mechanisms to ensure alignment/engagement
* Remain abreast of industry trends/changes to identify impacts to Campbell Soup
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation within area of responsibility

Sourcing leadership
* Facilitate execution to team members with respect to Procurement Sourcing activities for large/complex projects
* Develop, under general direction, category strategies in support of BU stakeholders' objectives/strategy
* Conduct RFXs/Auctions, analyze responses, and make recommendations
* Define negotiation strategies based upon Total Delivered Cost and lead execution
* Support the contracting process in strong collaboration with BU and Legal
* Drive standardized policies and procedures across businesses
* Guide client in the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) as needed for services
* Manage all supplier contracts, proactively communicate, and renegotiate as needed based on contract terms, changing business needs and changes in the economic environment

Supplier relationship management
* Collaborate with business and suppliers to deliver continuous improvement and cost reductions to drive network efficiency, improve logistics practices and reduce costs
* Manage resolution of supplier issues to ensure business continuity as required

Analytic support
* Drive Logistics Procurement studies across all categories, to drive insights and help determine project resolutions.
* Serve as the team's SME in Power BI, Excel, Tableau, and other analytic tools.

RFx and Technology enablement
* Develop, under general direction, the technology strategy across logistics procurement to include automation, analytical tools, network intelligence, and artificial intelligence.
* Utilize RFx to management software facilitate world class sourcing events.

Client relations
* Establish strong working relationships with key customers
* Influence and help develop Dedicated Transportation strategy
* Support issue resolution creatively to provide optimal business solutions
* Drive compliance with preferred suppliers and policies and procedures

Job Complexity:
Ability to interact & influence with team members at all levels in the organization, as well as senior leadership across multiple functions.
Exhibit the ability influence the direction of the business and align and engage resources, with support in assigned category.
Demonstrate strategic thought leadership in moving Procurement strategies forward with respect to indirect categories.
Must have analytical, RFx software, strong project & time management skills to maintain multiple projects
Demonstrated self-starter, imaginative/innovator, and able to set executive direction
Partner with Legal and business unit to develop and execute contracts
Business Travel within North America (Canada inclusive) - 20%

Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA in supply chain or related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Procurement, preferably with prior experience in sourcing Transportation and/or Warehousing as well as a general knowledge of operations
Excellent negotiating skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Knowledge of RFx Management software
Experience with SAP, Transportation and Warehousing Management Systems preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$83,200-$119,600

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
