Job Responsibilities:

• Supports R&D Engineers in research and development of endoscope harvesting and ECMO cannula devices.
• Performs system requirement study and functions research.
• Participates in design & development activities, collaboration with contractors defining interface, power consumption and board dimensions.
• Programs sensor fusion firmware coding and application software for system control.
• Performs design activities using OrCAD for schematics capture and PCB layout, works with contractors for PCB fabrication and SMT, brings up PCB in the lab with tools like multimeter, oscilloscope.
• Contributes system assembly and testing, analyze testing data.
• Prepares test reports, attends engineering meetings and reviews.

Minimum Requirements

• Candidates with experience/skills in: Minimum of 2 full years of education in an engineering curriculum, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Advanced proficiency: Experience with EDA tools like OrCAD, Altium Designer, KiCAD, and familiarity in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Electrical aptitude with a hands-on approach.
