Position Overview

QinetiQ US is seeking a Video Production Specialist to oversee the creation of high quality, educational, engaging content for use in various digital and social platforms for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This position also includes the management and oversight of video pre-production planning, post-production editing, and on-site production activities.



Responsibilities

Duties include:

    Complete total video production operations from story boarding and script development to completion of production.
  • Lead a full time broadcast operations team to produce several video and broadcast products on a weekly basis for use at various levels throughout the Military Health System.
  • Oversee script development, video production, lighting, editing, video graphics, music and any other elements necessary for the development of short or long range video productions.
  • Ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new hardware and software developments; participate in the evaluation of alternative approaches and new software or modifications to enhance operations and development activities.
  • Interface with clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and addresses impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 years overall work experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust; #qinetiqclearedjob.
  • Must have knowledge of the Department of Defense and the ability to access online B-roll and still photo images from multiple sources including Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with administrative programming of video services hardware including Qumu Webcasting, Poly video conference hardware and backbone, MS Teams
  • Proficient with video production applications: Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  • Working knowledge of running footage on automotive vehicles
  • Experience and accreditation piloting DJI or comparable drones
