IDD Reviewer

The IDD Reviewer is responsible for evaluating services and supports provided to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure quality, compliance with policy, and alignment with individual needs and person-centered plans. The reviewer plays a critical role in promoting the health, safety, and rights of individuals receiving services through the District of Columbia's developmental disabilities service system. Must be a DC resident.

Responsibilities:

• Review individual service plans (ISPs), provider documentation, and medical/clinical records
• Evaluate compliance with local and federal regulations, including Medicaid waiver requirements
• Conduct desk and/or field reviews of provider agencies and residential/day service sites
• Identify gaps in service delivery, quality of care issues, or non-compliance
• Prepare written reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and inter-agency meetings
• Collaborate with providers, case managers, and oversight bodies to support service improvements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of D.C. policy, HCBS waiver regulations, and best practices in disability services
