Salary Range: $85,446 - $142,732 / year

Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an IS&T Oracle Work Asset and Management (OWAM) Developer, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base in Arnold, TN. The IS&T OWAM Developer will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Open to internal, current BNH employees only. External candidates will not be considered. The selected candidate for this requisition may be required to occasionally (e.g., application upgrades) work outside normal business hours.

Job Summary

The successful candidate responsible for the design, development, sustainment, deployment and support of Arnold AFB Oracle Work Asset and Management (OWAM) application within the Arnold Test Mission Support System (ATMSS).

Job Duties:

    Responsible for the design, development, sustainment, deployment and support of enhancements to the Oracle Work Asset and Management (OWAM) System.
  • Responsible for the proper and accurate integration of OWAM enhancements into ATMSS.
  • Responsible for establishing and leading requirements gathering meetings with requirement stakeholders to collect and document functional requirements.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining software lifecycle aspects of OWAM that includes requirements documentation, design documentation, configuration management, testing, implementation plans, etc.
  • Responsible for providing Tier 2 end user troubleshooting support for OWAM through Arnolds ticket support system.
  • Responsible for remediating critical issues with OWAM and issues with OWAM integration into ATMSS business system; Support and remediate any critical issues with OWAM outside of normal assigned work hours.
  • Responsible for ensuring OWAM maintains compliance with all Cybersecurity requirements and is consistently documented, maintained, and regularly evaluated.
  • Responsible for periodically evaluating process and program effectiveness and employing continuous improvement best practices.
  • Responsible for developing approaches to solutions independently and/or in a team environment.
  • Support the use of common work processes and procedures within assigned function across the TOS contract.
  • Provide support to AEDC Customer and other contractors.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Engineering, Science, or Information Systems and at least 5 or more years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education and progressive and relevant experience.
  • Must obtain CompTIA Security + certification within 1 year of hiring date.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with:
    • Toad for Oracle
    • Microsoft Office
    • Windows 11 & Windows Server OS application environments
    • Oracle Work Asset and Management application
    • Oracle Database and Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
    • Creating Oracle business intelligence reports in OWAM.
  • Familiarity with:
    • Software Development Lifecycle methodologies including waterfall and agile
    • Object Oriented Programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Java
    • Other languages such as XML, XML Path (XPATH), HTML
    • Other technologies for example Web API's, etc.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication
  • Skilled at building and maintaining personnel and customer relationships
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Active DoD security clearance
  • DoD8570/8140 compliant, IAT Level II certification to include CompTIA Security+ certification and computing environment certificate such as Windows Server Fundamentals
