Quality Control Inspector

Summary

This position shall administer the onsite Yorktown Naval Weapons Station and Cheatham Annex Quality Control Program and ensure compliance with all criteria of the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station/Cheatham Annex Facility Custodial Contract. The QC Inspector will conduct inspections of the buildings alone and/or in the presence of government representatives to identify any deficiencies and communicate with the appropriate service team members to ensure prompt corrective action and minimize the opportunity of reoccurrence.

Primary Responsibilities

* Administers the onsite Yorktown Naval Weapons Station Custodial Quality Assurance program.

* Tour building areas serviced by Versability Resources to perform visual inspections and note deficiencies and areas for improvement.

* Produces computer-generated reports, reviews information with onsite managers and supervisors, and transmits information to Versability Resources, Inc. representatives

* Analyzes trends and reports to management.

* Liaises with Versability workplace parties to address and resolve day-to-day issues.

* Conducts follow-up inspections to ensure that the correction of deficiencies is satisfactorily completed.

* Initiates appropriate training to prevent the recurrence of deficiencies

* Coordinate solicited feedback through surveys and group sessions with key stakeholders in the quality process.

* Monitor and act upon unsolicited feedback from the Versability team, tenants, and the general public

* May clean buildings as necessary

Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements

* Minimum 3 years' experience in large facilities (Custodial/Janitorial Services)

* High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

* Complete knowledge of service specifications

* Demonstrated customer relations skills

* Excellent communication and computer skills.

Physical Demands:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, travel from one building to another, push heavy equipment, twist at the neck and waist, reach, and kneel. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
