National Grid Ventures (NGV) is at the forefront of the energy transition. We operate across the UK, Europe, and the US, developing, operating, and investing in large-scale clean energy infrastructure. We're helping to accelerate society's drive towards net zero while maintaining security of supply today. This role is focused on NGV's US business (NGV US). The Manager will be a critical resource in the Regulatory Delivery and Strategy team for NGV's US Commercial organization. The Regulatory Delivery and Strategy team is responsible for the analysis and policy engagement discussions to deliver a regulatory strategy that advances current and future opportunities aligned to NGV's businesses. This role is specially focused on engagement within the local Independent System Operator (ISO) / Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) in specific markets including the NYISO, ISO-NE, MISO, and PJM markets. Furthermore, the Manager of Regulatory Delivery and Strategy will be responsible for tracking, advocating and advancing policy positions within the respective States within the ISO / RTO at the Public Service Commissions or their equivalent governmental bodies. This role is a unique opportunity to work with a highly dynamic, motivated, forward-thinking, commercially oriented team; to interact with and influence decisions makers; and identify and solve complex challenges facing large-scale energy development across generation, transmission and energy storage. The role will include frequent collaboration and coordination with National Grid's Government Affairs teams and requires the ability to identify key issues that could impact NGV US's overall strategy. Key Accountabilities
* Project management, including identification of issues, monitoring and tracking of relevant activities at the ISOs / RTOs and respective proceedings at State Public Service Commissions Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred, with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience working with a ISO / RTO, State Utility Commission, Utility, energy developer or as a consultant to these industries More Information Salary $122,000 - $144,000 a year This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
