Support through this requirement is to ensure complete coverage of the 25th Attack Group overall flying operations support by providing highly qualified and experienced flying operations support.

Position Title: Weather Forecaster Position Location: Shaw AFB, SC

Summery: Weather forecasting for real-time combat operations is a challenging and dynamic process. Even after the mission execution forecast is created, numerous changes are normally required because of the dynamic nature of both weather and operational conditions. Support of 24/7 combat operations require shift work, endurance and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  

  Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a certified weather forecaster supporting DoD operations and highly familiar with AFW-WEBS, Mark IV-B and all Microsoft Office Applications

  
  

• 
  

  Possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

  
  

• 
  

  Have no negative administrative, judicial, non-judicial, or criminal action/record in previous civilian or military employment for
  
  five (5) years, no history of being terminated from civilian employment, denied reenlistment, administratively discharged, or separated from the military under any condition other than honorable

  
  
• 
  

  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly articulate technical and strategic level matters to a variety of audiences, have excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively while working autonomously with minimal supervision as well as in conjunction with multiple personnel in the fulfillment of said duties.

  Must show strong attention to detail, have excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills be proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
