Join us as our new Quality Control Associate

The Quality Control Team ensures Novonesis delivers high-quality products by maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards. Their work directly supports the company's mission of innovation and customer satisfaction. The team fosters a collaborative environment, sharing knowledge and supporting one another in tackling challenges. Together, they conduct inspections, analyze manufacturing data, perform routine testing, and maintain compliance documentation, while also contributing to cross-functional projects aimed at process and product improvement. Looking forward, the team will focus on adopting advanced technologies like automation, predictive analytics, and digital tools to enhance efficiency. They will also play a key role in sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with green standards and reducing waste. By combining teamwork, technical expertise, and innovation, the Quality Control Team drives Novonesis's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

In this role you'll make a difference by:

  • Collaborating with R&D, SQM and PM teams to understand the testing requirements for new products and projects.

  • Developing technical data sheet for LIMS setup for raw materials, packaging components, intermediate and finish goods.

  • Developing and maintaining internal specifications for blends and intermediates.

  • Reviewing and updating technical documentation, including test methods, SOPs, and validation protocols to include new products.

  • Developing and maintaining project plans for onboarding new products to the QC lab, ensuring that all activities are completed on schedule.

  • Coordinating with internal and external laboratories to ensure turnaround times are accurate for new testing setup.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of new testing methods and procedures.

  • Performing other QC-related duties as assigned.

To succeed you must hold:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in Microbiology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or related field is preferred.

  • 1 to 3 years in Quality Control or Quality Assurance

  • Knowledge in SAP, LIMS, Business Intelligence, and Microsoft Office programs.

  • Work experience in an FDA-regulated industry, preferably dietary supplements or pharmaceuticals is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of microbiology, chemistry, and practical application of general laboratory skills.

  • The ability to handle multiple, rapidly changing priorities and handle unanticipated events without losing sight of core responsibilities.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and compliance.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
