Staffmark is hiring an Asset Management
Specialist in Houston, TX. This role is a great opportunity for detail-oriented individuals with a strong understanding of quality control and an interest in device repair and inventory management.

Pay Rate: $15/hour

Schedule: 1st or 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities:



  • Inspect and test approximately 150 repaired devices daily to ensure they meet internal and OEM standards.
  • Document defects or malfunctions and report findings to the Repair Team for resolution.
  • Update device status and location within the inventory system.
  • Communicate with Repair and Parts Inventory Teams to ensure high-quality asset redeployment.
  • Contribute to reports on repair quality metrics and support ongoing process improvement efforts.
  • Take on tasks as assigned by supervisors or project leads.



Qualifications:



  • Experience handling laptops, tablets, Chromebooks, and identifying common failure points.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or SmartSheet for reporting and data tracking.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Dexterity to use tools and inspect devices effectively.
