Genesis10 is currently seeking an Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX . This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Work with the Project Manager, Architects, and other technology teams to implement web services to solve mission-critical business challenges in Payments and Transfer services domain Design, build, and maintain integrations for multiple on-premises and/or cloud systems and must be capable of understanding business requirements, developing, testing, deploying the integrations and have the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders; support personnel, architects, testers, and server admins Requirements: Knowledge and experience with middleware applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Maven, Eclipse, and Oracle Implementation of RESTful services using Java J2EE, Spring Core, Spring Boot, jBoss, Generic collection framework, Exception Handling, and Multi-threading Knowledge of Spring Batch using JPA and Hibernate Experience of working with Relational DB such as Oracle Knowledge of Object-oriented design, different design patterns, and their implementations Hands-on working experience with Java testing frameworks (Junit/Mocks/Powermock) Proficient in DevOps tools: Eclipse, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube Great communication skills - both oral and written Excellent problem-solving skills Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
