Donaldson Company is growing its newest vertical, Life Sciences, through a combination of organic and acquired innovations designed to bring transformative solutions to the biopharmaceutical industries. The joint bioprocess marketing team supports Isolere Bio, Purilogics, Univercells Technologies and Solaris which are located in RTP, NC; Greenville, SC; Nivelles, Belgium; and Mantova, Italy; respectively. These business units are launching new products and expanding their portfolio of offerings which bring significant competitive advantages - improving productivity and quality while reducing the overall time to clinic and cost of goods for increasingly complex biologic drugs. Due to the early nature of many of these bioprocessing products, a great candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset while still being able to navigate the established, supporting corporate culture of Donaldson and contribute to its growing life sciences vertical.

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Marketing Specialist II to join our Purilogic's team. The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence, drive lead generation, and support sales efforts. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge in biotechnology and strong marketing acumen.

The position will be based out of the Purilogic's facility in Greenville, SC.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Marketing strategy execution:Define annual MarCom goals and strategy in line with business objectives. Implement integrated marketing campaigns and product launch plans across various channels, with a focus on technical accuracy and industry relevance.

  • Brand awareness:Position the Purilogics and Life Science brands by designing and implementing though leadership initiatives such as technical content creation and KOL endorsement.

  • Technical content creation:Develop and produce high-quality content for marketing materials, including technical white papers, case studies, product brochures, videos, social media posts, and website content that accurately reflect our bioprocessing technologies.

  • Event coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of industry events, trade shows and webinars

  • Collaboration:Work closely with Bioprocessing marketing team to integrate processes and align marketing strategies with business objectives. Potentially contributing to the other entities MarCom's initiatives depending on priorities.

  • Brand management:Support the roll-out of the new Life Sciences brand by ensuring consistent and technically accurate messaging and branding across all marketing materials and channels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Biotechnology, or a related field

  • 3+ years of marketing experience; with some of this including experience in the biotech, life sciences, or technical industry

  • Experience with content creation and/or technical writing

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and/or marketing performance metrics.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling marketing content

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in biotechnology or related discipline

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics) and marketing automation tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Marketo)

  • Strong understanding of bioprocessing technologies and biopharmaceutical manufacturing

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, SEO tools, social media management tools)

  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Strong communicator

  • Ability to work independently but also with a global team
