Installing and maintaining commercials security equipment,
including access control devices, CCTV cameras, and alarm systems. *Technologies: Lenel/S2, AMAG, C-Cure, Software House, Avigilon, Genetec* * *Troubleshooting and Repair:* Diagnosing and resolving issues with security systems, including hardware and software problems. *MUST BE ABLE TO PROGRAM!* * *Testing and Verification:* Conducting tests to ensure security systems are functioning properly and meeting performance standards. * *Technical Support:* Providing technical support to end-users, including training and troubleshooting. * *System Design and Planning:* Assisting with the design and planning of new security systems or modifications to existing ones. * *Documentation and Reporting:* Maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs, parts, and tickets. Communicating with diverse stakeholders regularly. * *Inventory Management:* Managing parts inventory and ordering supplies as needed. * *Blueprint and Schematic Interpretation:* Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents. * *Working with Electrical Wiring:* May be required to work with electrical wiring, including cable installations and terminations. * *Security Assessments:* Participating in security assessments and making recommendations for system improvements. * *Vendor Management:* Coordinating with vendors for equipment purchases, installations, and repairs. * *Compliance:* Ensuring that security systems comply with relevant codes and regulations. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
