Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

    Maintains and may create routine and special project specific reports that accurately reflect the cost and/or schedule status for projects, which may include design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Works under close supervision, with work being frequently reviewed and checked upon completion.
  • Inputs information into databases and spreadsheets for monitoring and preparing project cost, schedule, and procurement reports.
  • Meets with project team members to gather cost and scheduling information, and provide reports.
  • Assists with development of estimating worksheets.
  • Attends internal project meetings to report cost and schedule status.
  • May reconcile various project estimates and project costs with capital accounting reports.
  • May write, issue and track the status of ordered and delivered equipment and services.
  • May contact/coordinate with vendors regarding the status of equipment deliveries.
  • May gather information at the project site to input into cost and schedule reports.
  • Travel required.
  • Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or architecture preferred, with little or no practical working experience in this field.
  • Five (5) years related experience in Scheduling, Estimating, Cost controls or other Project Management related activities in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a quick learner, detail oriented and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and ability to read drawings preferred.
  • Salary Range: $63,000-$67,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
