Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $51,300 - $54,600. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment, pay is determined by experience. Candidate will not have to do own research project. We are seeking to hire a highly motivated, dedicated individual who has excellent project management and molecular biology skills. Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, or other senior lab personnel, the incumbent may perform tasks including but not limited to: * Writing/updating/distributing lab protocols, SOPs, project plans/summaries/reports Application Instructions: UC Irvine is one of ten campuses of the highly regarded University of California system. Qualifications: Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree or a master's degree emphasis in biological sciences, neuroscience, toxicology or other related fields. Candidates should have previous experience in neurobiology or molecular biology (1-year minimum) and prior laboratory management experience is highly desired (1-year minimum). Applicants should possess solid organizational and time management skills and have ability to work in a team environment with ever-changing priorities.
