Sr. Technical Illustrator

Culmen International is hiring a Sr. Technical Illustrator to support the Research Directorate at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and will be on-site in Lakehurst, NJ.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst (LKE) Mission Operations & Integration (MO&I) Department. NAWCAD LKE is the lead activity responsible for Navy Aircraft Platform Support Equipment (SE), Aircraft Launch Recovery Equipment (ALRE), and provides support to additional Joint Service, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The successful execution of these efforts results in logistics, engineering, and cyber work products for each aircraft and associated support systems.

Create detailed technical illustrations to support technical documentation and training materials.
• Utilize software tools to produce accurate and visually engaging graphics.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand complex concepts and processes.
• Maintain consistency and clarity in visual representations.

• Bachelors Degree
• 10+ years of experience as a technical illustrator.
• Proficiency in illustration software, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of technical concepts.
• Active Secret Clearance
