Controllers

Controllers ensure that the firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated, and public financial institution. Our professionals measure the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firm's business. Controllers also ensure that the firm's activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations governing transactions in the financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Billing of corporate and individual clients for service fees
  • Generate and send client and corporate statements of account and collection letters
  • Post daily cash receipts in Peoplesoft AR and balance accordingly
  • Process credit card payments
  • Communicate with corporations regarding collection of past due accounts
  • Assist clients and employees with billing related inquiries
  • Other billing related projects as assigned


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment under challenging deadlines
  • Strong Excel and Word skills


Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $55000-$80000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
